These hand-made surprise balls can be part of any celebration. I make holiday balls (with vintage Christmas keepsakes and found toy charms) or western balls (with cowboy charms or trinkets) or more general party balls. All are decorated spheres have quilted covers decorated with bells and buttons. Hidden inside also are other surprises including desert stones or found objects. Each ball also has a fortune or message. Balls are twined with repurposed fabric or papers. As the fabric is unwound, the surprises are revealed. Although each ball is unique, it measures approximately 4 inches in width.
